Back to School Again!

While many kids have already headed back to school, many more are eagerly anticipating (or totally dreading) their first day back. Over the next couple weeks, we will feature back to school related posts here on our blog to “celebrate”!

We have a great way for kids to eat and drink in style this new school year. Matching aluminum water bottles and lunchboxes from Crocodile Creek will make lunch that more fun! Available designs include stegosaurus, ladybug, and firetruck. (Be sure to check back next week when we talk about bento, the wonderful art of packing a lunch!) Some coordinating Crocodile Creek backpacks are available as well!

Maybe your kids are too young for school, but are counting down the days until their first day. We have lots of toys that make it easy to play “school” anytime:

- Playmobil School: The latest detailed set from Playmobil! You can build a whole school (see pictured) or use favorite parts and characters to turn any environment into a place of learning. (My favorite? Woodshop!)

- Pretend & Play School Set: For ages 3 and up, this tri-fold board set comes with a gradebook, set of hall passes, double-sided map and much more!

- Let’s Pretend School Set: The 225-piece set from Alex Toys includes everything to build an enriching classroom!

- Ready, Set, School! Set: Also from Alex Toys, this kit has tons of activities like cutting and lacing.

- Calico Critters Baby Play Nursery School: The Calico Critters love learning at this two-story school.

Toddlers and younger can join in with toys featuring the iconic school bus, like the Handeez School Bus Toy and wooden School Bus Puzzle. We also feature not just any bus, but the Magic School Bus! Its adventures can be enjoyed at home thanks to kits like The Magic School Bus Journey into the Human Body. (See more Preschool Educational Activities!)

Whether it’s going back to school or playing school, we’re here to help promote early learning for all kids.
